🎙️ Part 1 – Presentation

Hello, my name is Andrea del Pilar Peña Villalfrade.
I belong to the group 3186583.
My instructor is Sebastián Pérez Restrepo.
This is the activity: Attitudes, Beliefs, and Obligations in Academic and Work Contexts. 🌟

💬 Part 2 – Opinion

In my academic life, I believe that education is the key to a better future. 🌱
I have to attend classes regularly and participate actively.
I must complete my homework and projects on time because they are very important for my progress.

I should practice with applications like Duolingo and Ewa, and I should watch movies or series on streaming platforms with English audio and Spanish subtitles to improve my listening skills. 🎬
I should also read more books, do research, and practice English every day to strengthen my abilities.

I believe that curiosity and discipline are essential attitudes for learning, and I must apply these values with my patients to help them improve their lives in every aspect. 💡💛

In my work life, I believe that responsibility, empathy, and teamwork are essential values to provide care with human quality. 🤝
I have to arrive early and respect the company rules at 6 a.m.
I must respect my colleagues and complete the tasks assigned to me according to my schedule and the needs of my workplace.

I should be flexible and open to learning new things, because continuous learning helps me grow in my job as a physician.
I believe that medicine is not only a profession but also a mission to serve people. ❤️‍🩹
I must care for my patients with dedication, and I should always give them clear health recommendations to support their well-being. 🌿

🧠 Part 3 – Conclusion

In conclusion, my attitude is positive and empathetic. 😊
My belief is that effort, discipline, and kindness always lead to meaningful results.
My obligations are to be responsible, respectful, and professional in both academic and work environments.

As a physician, I also have the duty to help people, to offer guidance for their life and health, and to continue learning every day to provide the best care possible. 🌟📚

🌟 Mind Map: My Personal Learning Environment (PLE) 🗺️ My PLE Mind Map Below is the mind map I created for this activity. It represents my Personal Learning Environment and the tools I use to learn English in meaningful and flexible ways. 🔗 Link to my mind map (Canva) 👉 Click here to view the Canva mind map 🌈 Introduction For this activity, I created a mind map that represents my Personal Learning Environment (PLE). The goal is to show the different strategies, tools, and resources I use to learn English, and how these elements support my academic and professional development. 🌿✨ This evidence belongs to the course English Level 6 – MCE B1.1+ . To complete it, I reviewed the article by Kupchyk & Litvinchuk (2020) about how ICT tools support the creation of Personal Learning Environments for learning foreign languages. 💻📘 Using this information, I designed a colorful mind map that illustrates how I learn English in my daily life and in my work e...

📺🧠 Media Manipulation, Advertising and the Hidden Grammar Behind Publicity

📺🧠 Media Manipulation, Advertising and the Hidden Grammar Behind Publicity (Critical Thinking and Media Literacy Post) In this learning activity, I explored how modern societies are constantly shaped by the messages we receive through advertising, mass media and digital platforms. 📱📰 After studying media literacy in the SENA material and reading about manipulative systems in 1984 by George Orwell, I realized how similar the mechanisms are. 📘👁️ Even though 1984 presents a dystopian society controlled by the “Ministry of Truth”, where language and history are rewritten to manipulate people, today’s world uses much more subtle methods—colors, images, slogans, editing and emotional triggers that influence decisions without us noticing. 🎨🖼️🔊 Advertising is not “just advertising”. It is a grammar of persuasion—a structured way of speaking to the subconscious mind. 🧩🧠✨ 🎭 Advertising as a System of Manipulation Modern media rarely shows reality as it is. Accordi...
